Mustard Seed Interiors

Wow.

Being that Miss Mustard Seed hasn't yet booked her flight into farmer jacket BC Canada quite yet to sew for poor me, guess I'll have to figure out something fancy for these two wing chairs myself.

And drink all that diet Pepsi I bought her. Her loss I say. :)

Then again there's the ever popular 'deconstructed' chair look I found over at Peace Love Sweater.

Don't even tempt me, Catherine! :)

Am I crazy for loving that?  Should I rip up a chair and see where it takes me?!?

Don't you DARE dare me now...  my son would totally move out once and for all. He's still not jiving with the rust. :)

Got some lovely slip covered projects to show?

Help a girl out and link them up in this weekend's 3rd themed linkup!

~ next up ~

you choose. :)

Be sure to check the themed linkups master list to add your newest creations anytime. They're always open. List HERE.

Like pretty stuff? Read the review and join in for a chance to win!

~ SNS blah blah linkup rules ~

1. Please link up your intended post, NOT your blog homepage url. (post, then click the title of your post, then cut and paste that url) If your post has been deleted, please try again.

 2. Please put a link in your post (button or text) that leads back to the party so others can see what's up. (see BUTTONS label under main blog header)

 3. This party is geared for DIY type projects we can all attempt to make ourselves. Items for sale may be linked up IF your entry is posted on your blog and in tutorial style.

4. For Home Decor and Crafts, Sewing, Cooking, please link projects up that are new to SNS and/or within 1 month old.  This helps keep content fresh.

The 3rd weekly themed link may have older posts and not brand new to SNS and will remain open for your new additions at any time. Click HERE for the main list.

If you can't decide which category to enter yours in, please just pick ONE and go with it. It's all good!

  11. Figures my sewing machine would fritz out on me now! I mean, it's only 28 years old... it should still be purring instead of coughing hairballs! LOL

  16. I haven't made a slipcover yet either! I was gifted my Grandma's old sewing machine so I am all set. I am stalking a free French-ish Armchair on Kijiji right now hoping that it can be my maiden voyage!

I linked up with your Home Decor Sat Nite Special with my Giant Art Chalkboard I finished yesterday for my almost 4 year old daughter. I have been reading your blog for awhile and finally have one of my own now! Yay for Canadian Girls!

  19. I love slipcovers but I can't sew!! Any tips on a supplier or a non-sewing slip cover? Or maybe Donna could make me some with her new sewing machine?

  23. After you build that table/desk...you know with the washed wood (talk about woot! woot!) JUST DO IT. Make the slip cover already.

If I can do this ANYBODY WHO HAS HALF A BRAIN AND DOESN'T DRINK COFFEE can!!!! Ok, maybe that was harsh. Wasn't meant to be. Just making a point. (and besides, I was describing me)

I'm linking up in the next day or so. So much on my mental plate right now that I can barely do anything else!!!!

Love ya. Thanks for hosting. AGAIN! Can't wait to spend some time looking at everyone's beautiful creations. We really need to put in for long weekends here with SNS!! Don't you think?

    Love,
    ~Kolein
