All we talked about in November

My my.. I've sure yakked alot in November. If you're new here or are a sporadic reader, you may have missed a few posts that could be of interest to you.

I haven't done this on the 'ol blog as yet, however I thought I'd give this a test run to see if it's a viable idea. Here we go!

~ November Recap ~

Yup. You can do some fantastic things with the macro setting on your point and shoot.

This one's all about getting stuff done you've procrastinated on. My apologies! I need to let you know where the next GD's will be held! So sorry... this one slipped my mind! Will work on this next week. Yikes.. I totally need GD to get this done! Ha...

This post brings in the fact that blogger sets up defaults you aren't even aware of, hindering others' visits to you. And they're all fixable.

Can I just say, since running this post, visits to your blog have been SO MUCH EASIER! I'm personally thrilled and saw an immediate difference!

Haven't read it yet? Please do and try the advice. You'll get more hits, comments, and emails!

A little wordy inspiration on how we stunt our own growth with our excuses. Due to fear. Featuring Miss Mustard Seed and Layla.

SNS's themed linkups have now been reopened where you can add to them at any time! There's a sidebar button you can use or in each SNS post I also post the direct link. Please feel free to go through the list each time you create a wonderful project to see if there's a suitable linkup for you! Great ongoing inspiration resource.

Edited to add:

Additional musings

stencils

- remember I promised to do a trial run on stencils? It won't fly at this current time. Not only did life take over and get too busy to implement it, my main work computer cut out during the last power surge. So sorry to leave you hanging. We'll see what transpires in the future.

retakes are good
- some magazine media has come a knockin'. So I've been scurrying taking new photo shoots and bettering some of my past reveals at the same time. It's a good tip. Our skills are improving, so I think it pays to retake poor shots in popular posts.

This weekend's themed linkup is "Favorite Things". Hope you bring your favorite things along so we can get some shopping inspiration from you! See you Friday, 7pm Pacific!

Goodness... there goes another month! I hope you gleaned some good stuff out of this content.

Let me know what you think of the month end recap. Desired? Not really needed?

And thanks once again for following. I always appreciate your comments and suggestions! Got any? About anything? Questions?  Fire away! (watch comments for answers)

  9. YES!!!! I LOVE recaps!!!!!!!!!!

    One question:

Why does SNS start on FN at 7pm? Is this the same concept as Halloween in August and Thanksgiving in September and by golly, we've all missed Christmas this year!!!!!??? I am curious!

  11. #6 Ann, Facebookers have heard me do alot of whining about my current cold. I'm nearly all brand new again. :)

#10 Kolein, the original premis behind SNS was for Sat and Sun. To get a head start, I started it Friday night. Then just established a regularish time. No idea why. Maybe because it wasn't too late for the world and they could link up abit early to get a head start. Right... I believe that was it!

#11 April, thanks for the mantel compliment, however it's already abit different. :) The gate made it to the final cut though!

#5 Amy, I most certainly didn't invent the recap thing but I've been watching other blogs that do it and I'm always grateful they did for one reason or another. Thought I'd give it a whirl.

Last night I had more in the recap, like some personal musings and comments on stuff. I should have left it in. Maybe I'll go put it back...
