Highlights from Sat Nite Special #1

Care for a little more inspiration today? Here's a little surprise feature of some highlights from the first Saturday Nite Special! Sorry I'm abit tardy on this delivery. I'm still a hostess in training here. :)

Room to Inspire - gorgeous hand painted illustration to match a purchased one. Must see!

Bobbypins Boardwalk - this is the small beginnings of what blooms with Jan's chairs. AMAZING outcome.

Great Oak Circle - beautifully creative art for the fireplace

Gails Decorative Touch - bedroom makeover. Check out the fireplace mantel headboard! I do love this shot though. Aren't those windows dressed to perfection?!?

Will the Real Liz Please Stand Up - tissue box transformation. Cool!

Funky awesome stools by Creative Home Expression

Fern Creek Cottage - you HAVE to go see what this plant stand was made out of.

The DIY Show Off's Alpha chair. I LOVE this!

Moore Minutes shows you this glorious beadboard with a ledge.

Recaptured Charm - I LOVE the unexpected pop of colour on this one!

It is my total pleasure hosting these wonderful parties. Thanks for the inspiration and for helping to keep the 'card file inside my head' refreshed.

See you on the weekend for round #3!

  1. Donna, thank you for highlighting what I shall now name my "funk-lovin" chair (haha)... I do think that "funk-loving" is the appropriate name. It feels great to be included with such creative talent. I love your blog and wish I could have participated in your weekend linky. I'll get it on the fun the next one. Keep doing what you do, and thank you for the honor of posting my chair.

  7. I love that tissue box transformation! I never have tissues out because the boxes are so ugly. Maybe after a transformation of my own, we will actually have something to blow our noses on!

  8. Donna, you made my day for featuring my small project!

It's cold and snowy out so being cooped up today I'm feeling a bit closed in (plus the windows and patio doors are horrible in this place so I have the curtains and "apartment" vertical blinds closed to attempt to keep the heat in).

    < smile >

    I feel honored. :-)

  9. I was just telling a friend today about this idea I had to make a piece of artwork out of yardsticks, then I go to your blog and see the yardsticks on todays hot find! I was ready to pass out I got so excited. This was all the inspiration I needed to go for it! When I'm finished I'll have to link it up to a Saturday night special. My favorite linky party by far!!!!
