Postponed out of respect.

This isn't a pretty pictured junk post today. Today just isn't the day.

With the recent news of the school shootings in Conneticut this AM, it just feels like the right time to cherish those you have, and pray for those in trouble.

SNS was scheduled to post at 7pm pacific tonight, but to honour those affected by today's tragedy, I'm postponing it until midnight pacific.

I just think rather than linking up tonight, I'd like to help endorse spending time with our families instead. That's what I'm going to do anyway.

Thank-you for getting it. And see you tomorrow bright and early for a new day.

How fortunate are we?

  1. Very nice.
I am a CT resident although an hour or so away from the tragedy. I just cannot fathom it being so close to home, but even more so, how often this is happening in our world. Very sad all the way around.
Peace be with you and yours.

  2. I postponed today's post for the same reason. We need to pray very hard to find the ways and means of stopping these senseless acts. Hug your boy even tighter tonight!

  4. Maybe instead we could link up verses that are kid-appropriate? I think it's a great night to turn off the tv & open up the Bible.

  6. My heart is sobbing.

I ache for those parents whose arms are empty tonight.

Then senselessness of it all is what shakes me to my core. So many times we are so busy with all of the silliness of life and we do not take a moment to count our blessings.

Take ament to tell the ones that you love how blessed you are to have them in you life. My thoughts and prayers are with those sweet families.
