Since uploading Instagram into my iPhone, I've been a little (lots) hooked on it. It's a very fun, quick and quirky way to stay connected with things as they happen. Instant upload, done! It's rather nice to leave the big guns camera in it's case from time to time.
So, I shamelessly stole this idea by the incredible Michael of Inspired by Charm. Here's how he does his Instagram updates. Love it M!
So... here's a quick post on what I've been up to, Instagram style.
... continued ...
The great outdoors with my girl
1. Anyone else weed their road? Seriously... it's out of control. I needed to mow it.
2. Teddy discovered the birdbath... and it's just her height. Bad kitty... (not really)
3. This lovely clover patch resides on my travel trailer GRAVEL driveway. I quit. I'm mowing it this year. I know... use vinegar. I don't have a place to store a 5 ton truck load of it though...
4. My pretty girl that keeps me company, even when weeding the road and wishing my gravel driveway was under control. She's my happy place medication.
Things I adore
5. Meet Jess! She isn't mine (wah!) but she's Ben's little treasure. (my son's Big Brother) Oh my goodness. I knew I was weak for a new cat but I had no idea how quickly I could literally fall head over heels in love with another's! This photo makes me physically ache. In a good way. :)
6. I just love me some cats. xoxo
7.Once a week is Cadets night in our zone, and this is what I do during that time. I plunk myself down in a nearby Starbucks with my laptop, and order up a Vente Cinnamon Dolce Latte, 1 less shot. Isn't it heavenly? YES, I give you permission to visit Starbucks today. By golly you deserve it! (note: if you go, I'll be jealous)
8. Someone threw this pretty grainsack in the garbage at the firetruck place I letter at. Cannot be! I fixed that right quick.
Boys will be boys
9. My son and Ben take in a local event. It was a very hot day... how do these amazing firemen do this on a hot day?! You'd think they'd come up with a summertime version. Just had to shoot all these handsome men. :)
10. Speaking of men, I hosted a Love Fest at the firetruck place I play at. Every poor guy in sight got slapped with their own hippy styled Love Ya Man decal from scrap striping material. It was pretty funny and brought loads of smiles through the workplace! The {{{HUGS}}} one was the funniest though...
Out and about
11. Whoops! a double... moving on... WAIT! yum... ok, I'm good! (not really)
12. This is the graveyard in which both my parents were laid to rest. It was a moment I needed to capture. It was raining, yet the dogwoods were in full glorious bloom, which was my mom's favorite flower of all time. The word bittersweet definitely comes to mind here. And the rain drop on the gate finial provided the perfect tear.
13. I pass this gorgeous little shack every day I head into town. It resides in the corner of someone's field. Funny how a little nothing corner can translate into a thing of exquisite beauty when caught just so.
14. Some things just bear repeating. Get a grainsack today! (another whoops)
Well, that was just flat out FUN! If you'd like to follow me on Instagram, I go under funkyjunkinteriors.

DeleteI love that Instagram gives us a chance to see each other {bloggers} in our everyday lives and doing things - you know, normal things - and also to learn more about each other. It's absolutely my newest favorite thing - far exceeds Facebook! I'm at beckyb_omf if you'd like to follow too :)
