I was watching the programme at home, because I'm English, and I hope that guy has as much success as Susan Boyle. It's sad that people judge by appearances, and that Simon made that comment, but I think it's human nature, and I don't think it will ever really change. We now have The Voice over here and all the judges rejected one girl, but when one judge turned round and saw this amazing looking girl, he said 'I wish I'd said Yes' - it's wrong but it's life !
Donna - thank you so much for sharing this. I think, for whatever reason, judging is something that comes so naturally to all of us. This is simply proof positive why we must work very hard to overcome that tendency. This is beautiful and I cried from the first note to the last.
I watched the video when you linked on facebook - it took my breath away! I hope this young man (and his friend, especially for believing in him!) has enormous success and comes to appreciate how special he is. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
We watched this live here in the UK last week and it was so moving. Great that you shared this on your blog. I admit to tears and a softened heart too.
OK...you made me cry...so incredible!!! I like Simon, but sometimes he is too quick to put someone down based on looks...we can't all be "beautiful" people on the outside like Simon. Far more BEAUTY in Jonathon and Charlotte...Thanks for sharing!
thank you so much for sharing that clip! i don't usually bother with following links to things, but i am so happy that i followed that one. they were amazing and it was so touching to see. :')
I am so proud of the Charlotte for standing there with such great poise and taking Simons crap and for Johnathan for standing by her side. Well done both of you. You have lots of fans and I am probably your biggest.
I love your comments and read every one of these! For more interactive feedback from me, I'd love it if you'd join my FJI Facebook page where communication is always current and incredibly fun! Thank-you!
Wow-thank you for sharing!
