Kinda makes you wanna be a Canadian, doesn't it? :)

Happy Canada Day!

(yep, I'm Canadian)

This weekend we are staying put and playing around in the yard with some soil. I love staying home when I know traffic is crazy out there.

What are all of you doing this fine Canada Day / 4th of July weekend?

  1. Happy Canada Day! I'm a Canadian living in Texas and I love to celebrate Canada Day ... but our cake looks a little whompy this year (you can see it on my blog). Next time you have to do a post like this a day early. :)

  8. Sunning, swimming, playing cards and eating! Just chillaxing with the family. Maybe some yard work...maybe not, it's really hot here and our plants are getting crispy fried. Drought conditions, so no fireworks this 4th.
Have a fun weekend and Happy Canada Day :)

  15. I'm Texan, therefore American, through and through and will be celebrating the 4th. However, my dad was first generation American since his father and grandparents were all Canadian from Ontario so there's a piece of Canada in us for sure. Does that count? Happy Canada Day. Enjoy it.

  18. Happy Canada Day!! Love the images and will have me a banner for next year's celebration for sure. We had a wonderful day out at a quiet lake with friends. A mom, a dad, a daughter, and a dog -- just like us. It was perfect. No fruit cups though -- other than that, it was perfect. :)
