2000 reasons to throw MORE parties

What would you do with a simple clay pot?

Now before you answer that, there's a reason I'm asking. :)

Parties are generally to celebrate a focused occasion. If you've been following for awhile, you'll remember this last big party at Funky Junk.

I totally remember this day. I was... gaaaah... 1000!!!!

And I still feel the same way today. I'm still like, "I can't believe that many people are checkin' in to this little here blog in the corner of Canada, from the smallest littlest town ever with one 3 way stop! :)

Ok, we all know there are more subscribers/feed readers than followers, however the followers gadget has a certain element to it because it's VISUAL. You can SEE those that are following you rather than a number. So that is why I celebrate it!

Honestly, the number isn't really all that important. But what it does tell me is, what has lived inside my head truly seems to have a place in reality-ville. And that in itself is what thrills me!

Ok, 'nuff gushing. Wanna know what's in store?

In only 4 short months, it's nearly time to party again!

What's shakin'?

A group of us are very busy behind the scenes wrapping presents (and making them for that fact!) and planning activites. :) Each day there'll be:

Games!

Each event day will have something fun to do or interesting to learn. Perhaps it's an interactive event you can take part in .Or it's about your fav tips on something. Maybe it'll be a quiz on what you would make out of a piece of junk? The 'games' will be different daily.

Presents!

Ohhhh yes! Every party has to have presents! Each day will feature a new giveaway, giving you a chance to win something delightful! All the draws will be open to enter until the last one is posted. Then it's draw day! Some draws will be held by random org.com. Some draws may be based on a submission or comment. Tune in to see. :)

Do I have to be a follower to play?

You do not have to be a follower or subscriber to enter the draws, however I invite you to do so, so you don't miss a thing!  Being one will also give you extra chances to win stuff. :)

When?

The event starts once the follower's widget flips to 2000. From there, check daily. There may be posts back to back or a short break in between. It's a surprise party after all. :)

How many days will the event run?

Ohhhh... I dunno. :) It's a surprise party, I can't give you all the details!

What to bring?

Food! I wish... If you'd like to play along with the games, here's one to prepare for.

What would you do with a simple clay pot/s?

Grab one or a few and start playing. You may use it in more ways than one. Create your post, then select DRAFT. When the pot party is up (HA!), you're ready to roll! You may also use an older post if you wish. All I ask is that you link up to the event within your post. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Don't have a blog? No prob! Check out Photobucket. It's a free online way to store digital pictures. You'll have to create an account, but once you do, it's easy to download a picture. Once the pic is loaded up, select the 'url address' of the picture and add that to the link up feature during the party.
