SNS #21 brings you ~ your highlights!

Intro

Welcome to Saturday Nite Special #21!

If you're new here, kick off your shoes and join in! The theme is always a  DIY themed anything goes, so feel free to post your project, past or present that you're proud of so we can clap along with you!

Party starts at Fri night and ends Sunday 11pm, so you have all weekend to join.

I LOVE to highlight inspiring posts during the event on the sidebar, so make sure you check in several times over the weekend. You may be next. :)

~ This weekend's DIY Feature ~
SNS #20 highlights

This is so clever I can barely stand it! Hartwood Roses used the old dining room hutch to revamp into a modern day tv stand for a flat screen. Sooo cool.

Love To Create creates these amazing fabric no sew flowers. Aren't they precious?!?

Show & Tell creates a chalkboard playroom. Chalkboard on ALL the walls. Wow, how brave AND cool. I wanna go play over there. :)

Ever heard of pizza box art before? Well, that's exactly what this wonderfully whimsical picture was created on. Isn't that crazy?!? By Calling All Sleepyheads.

Fabulous boxwood topiary tutorial by Mustard Seed Creations. I love the take on this one!

And because I'm so not generally a crafter, I'm gonna throw in my own bingo board tray creation in case you missed it. :) The plan was to knock off a catalog inspired item and this was my take on it.

~ UPDATE: ~

WOW wow wow! Thanks so much for those of you that voted on this little project! I'm beyond thrilled getting 2nd! :)

Back to SNS news...

Many of you were featured on the sidebar during last week's SNS event so for the subscribers viewing in readers, be sure to check in on the blog during the event so you can also take in all the goodness going on here!

Blah blah rules for the SNS linkup:

1. Please link up your intended  post, NOT your blog. (post, then click on title of your post, cut and paste that url)

2. Please put a link in your post that leads back to the party so others can see what's up! (scroll button on sidebar if you wish)

3. I've allowed 75 characters in the link title area, so go ahead and tell us you blog name AND project description. Go ahead. There's room. :)

*4. This party is geared for *DIY type projects we can all attempt to make ourselves. Items for sale may be linked up IF your entry is posted on your blog and in tutorial style (unless making the item is self explanatory).

Let's party!

New post up Sunday nite! It is a VERY brave one this weekend. (gulp..)

    thanks for the party!
i can't get over your bingo board. what a work of art. is it okay to share, that my favorite grandma used to think she the "queen of bingo." everytime i see a bingo card i just smile. because she would pinch & poke (in a loving way) to brag that she won.
not that you wanted to know all that, but i am amazed by your talents & this particular project that you made brings a huge smile & sweet memories to mind.
    thank you!

  10. You sure picked a couple of true gems in your favorites this week. If only I could convince my man that the tv needs a cupboard of sorts of his own.

  12. How surprised was I to come here this morning and find my dining-hutch-turned-TV-cabinet right at the top of the page?! It was the perfect solution for us to the new-flat-screen dilemma and I hope my 'hutch' idea helps others too.

No projects to share this week. It's been too nice, and I've been outside whipping the rose garden into shape. I'm off, now, to see what the others have contributed.
