2012 was one very junky year indeed. It was a blast creating these projects, but you made them even more fun by enjoying, commenting on and sharing them. Thank-you so very much!
And here they are. My top 10 2012 projects, plus some greatest hits that continued to be a hit this past year.
#1. - How to edge flowerbeds like a pro
One hot summer day, I took my camera outside while doing my 'boring yard work'. This post became my #1 hit.
#2. - pallet walkway revisited
Desperate for a new walkway, this brainstorm came one day and it was finished before the night was out. Fast, easy, and super productive!
#3. - toilet paper crate storage
This crate on a wall was nothing to write home about until I added a plate... and toilet paper. Then it went KABOOM. Isn't the power of toilet paper amazing?
#4 . - Create a pallet wood closet wall
My lazy ways of not liking to hang up my clothes resulted in a popular reclaimed lumber wall complete with hooks galore.
#5. - Coffee bean bag window shades
What I thought was a failed magazine admission attempt was a hit on the blog. Who knew.
#6. - Route 66 cupboard
Adding a cool design to a prebuilt cabinet dramatically changed the whole thing. It became a highly copied little number.
#7. - Creating garden art with junk
Plants just go better with junk. Many others thought so too.
#8. - Pallet wood coffee table
I wanted a coffee table with my style attached. I think this did it.
#9. - How to decorate a junk styled mantel
Gettin' junky on the mantel was never so... junky.
#10. - Decorate a bedroom with messy linens
This is what happens when you keep buying sheets that don't fit your bed.
