Win a 1 year subscription to vintage styled FOLK Magazine!

This giveaway is now closed.

See below for the winner.

Have you heard the news? There's a new thrifty antiques kinda magazine in town. :)

And that would be FOLK.

Folk is brand spankin' new and is set to be published September 1st!

With photography like THIS, me'n FOLK will get along just fine. :)

So, if you were on FJI Facebook this weekend, we entered a little contest with FOLK Facebook.

If you went to their Facebook page and told them I sent you, we had the chance of winning two free 1-year magazine subscriptions, one for you and one for me.

Well, thanks to you....

WE WON!

So, a giveaway is in tall order!

A free one year's subscription
for FOLK

is going out to one of you!

But!

There's more good news. :) Are you ready for this?!? You'd better sit down.

Folk has officially asked me to be a regular contributor to their magazine! AAHH!!!
They checked me out and liked my junk. :)

This is really REALLY exciting!!! But being a brand new magazine, $ budgets are tight. So out of the kindness of their hearts, here's what they offered to do for you and me.

Buy through FJI

To help fund my new 'writing career', if you purchase a single copy or subscription of FOLK through my blog at any time, (same price as elsewhere) I will receive a small commission. I know... that's just deadly awesome of them!

And don't worry. If you purchase a subscription and win, you'll get reimbursed or an extension. Your choice! They are sooo awesome to work with.

More chances to win

Keep your eye on WE ARE FOLK on Facebook. They will be hosting contests to win until Sept 1st!

So... let's get this show on the road, shall we?

let's give them lots of cool ideas... :)

  2. This magazine will be even better with you in it! I want to see projects and before/afters. Whether they are outdoor projects or for interior design, I love seeing how people improve their lives and surroundings for themselves. It would also be nice to see a highlight of flea markets or stores that people frequent to get their FOLK look and create their FOLK lifestyles. Much of the shopping can prove unconventional and that is the fun of it! I.e., home depot stair rails for candlesticks, hemp rope to make a bowl...

  82. Wowza! Good for you, girl. This looks right up your alley. Well, and mine to be truthful :) What I'd like to see in FOLK is how to apply a folk/ junk/ upcycled style into new-build homes. So often we end up with pictures of gorgeous old farmhouses or victorian beauties and have no idea how to translate our style into the actual suburban lovelies we are trying to decorate.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I liked Folk on FB.
