~ What is it? ~

Ok, so you know I got a new camera yesterday, right? I'll put (nc) beside the new camera pictures because I know you'll be curious over the next little while.

I'm always picking up weird stuff. And what makes me enjoy certain finds even more is having NO idea what they are.

Kinda like these guys. What is this stuff?!? Eh.. who cares. It was galvanized and kinda cool. And naturally I had NO idea what to do with it on collecting day.

So then I start playing. Hmmm... it bends and holds it's shape... could it hold something? How?

Say, maybe if I connected it behind this old crate sign I've had forever... ok, now what will it's purpose be?

How about holding mail? I like it! (nc)

I needed it too! And it blends right in with the crate stairway and wacky artifacts on the wall.  (nc)

Let's try one more.

What's this crazy thing?!? No idea. But it's pretty big.

And then it came to me. This one's for Kolein. :) She one time said I had the ability to stick a rusty something into the wall and make it sing as a toilet paper holder, so....

Oh.. so perfect! Hee! (nc)

So have I convinced you that you too can make nearly anything into a useful houseold must have? Good! Now go forth and then come on back and link up what you came up with in the 3rd themed linkup!

What's your weirdest find to date?

~ next up ~

centerpieces

then...

chandeliers
bulletin boards
slip covers

Be sure to check the themed linkups master list to add your newest creations anytime. They're always open. List HERE.

~ SNS blah blah linkup rules ~

1. Please link up your intended post, NOT your blog homepage url. (post, then click the title of your post, then cut and paste that url) If your post has been deleted, please try again.

 2. Please put a link in your post (button or text) that leads back to the party so others can see what's up. (see BUTTONS label under main blog header)

 3. This party is geared for DIY type projects we can all attempt to make ourselves. Items for sale may be linked up IF your entry is posted on your blog and in tutorial style.

4. For Home Decor and Crafts, Sewing, Cooking, please link projects up that are new to SNS and/or within 1 month old.  This helps keep content fresh.

The 3rd weekly themed link may have older posts and not brand new to SNS and will remain open for your new additions at any time. Click HERE for the main list.

If you can't decide which category to enter yours in, please just pick ONE and go with it. It's all good!

Join us on Facebook this weekend for "What would you do with this?"

The last one was such a blast! Post a picture on the wall of something you're struggling with, and let us help you decide on what to do with it! Saturday and Sunday, come on down!

  11. Love the toilet paper roll holder. Very nice! It actually goes along with my oddest find to date, which is actually my mother's oddest find. It was an antique urinal that came from my step-dad's uncle's estate (that's a mouth full). What did she use said piece for? Well, she hung it above the guest toilet as a flower pot. Yes, toilet turned flower pot. I cannot even express how upset she was when someone knocked it down and broke it. Not exactly something that people keep lying around, so she'll probably never find another one.
