Dawn has been running a series of her own called Christmas Decorating on a Budget, but what caught me was just how pretty, simple and unique her touches were. And budget is right. It's all about what you do with what you have.
Lemme show you around!
A chandelier tied up in colourful gingham ribbon is the perfect touch!
Did you note the baker's twine on the little table top Christmas tree?
A row of evergreen seedlings in decked out clay pots along a window sill... gorgeous!
It says Christmas, but could also say winter with a few minor tweaks.

Cheers to a cheerful toast! Love the pinecone touches.
A tiny touch of nature with a pinecone and sprig of fresh greens on top of coordinated yet different plates couldn't be more perfect.
Christmas ladder tree is HERE.
Ladder trees (see my own ladder tree and others HERE) are HUGE this year, and this one joins the fray. I love the simplicity of this one.

Simple large lights and burlap garland ties in rustically perfect.
Did you have lincoln logs? Oh goodness, I spent so much time playing with ours so this one brings back memories galore. How perfectly charming to chime in decorating!
And yeah, there's that truck. It's so unexpected and, well, fun! Would you believe I have an ivory one like this? I need to get that lil' guy out...
